In order to thrive. Thank you so much for joining me on today's episode. Hello, beautiful humans and welcome back to this week's episode of Growing Tall Poppies. Today's episode is gonna be a little shorter, a little more personal, and a whole lot of me speaking from the heart. If you've been listening. For the past few weeks, especially episode 63, where I shared some of my personal story and the experience of being gaslit and silenced within systems that are meant to protect us, then I wanna start by saying this. Thank you. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, the messages, the dms, the comments. The support has been unbelievable. I'm so, so grateful to each and every one of you. I've read every single message, and I can't express how much it has meant to me to feel held, seen, and supported by this community. I'm so, so grateful, and your words have reminded me of something really, really important that we heal. Not just by telling the truth, but by being witnessed in it. And that's exactly what I feel has happened. So now I wanna talk about the next step in my healing journey. This isn't just a podcast. It's absolutely part of my purpose. In fact, a huge part of my purpose, you guys are why I do what I do. Every episode is around sharing stories of other people like me, like you, who have been through all sorts of awful, dreadful things, trauma and adversity. Each and every one of my guests has worked through what has happened to them, really grown as a result of their lessons and their learnings, and sees the gift in trauma and has peeled back those layers to get to a place of being able to give back and share their purpose in the world. And that just makes me so, so happy. And what I've realized over the past few weeks is that if I'm going to keep showing up in this space, if I'm going to continue to talk about post-traumatic growth and help others just like you move through their stuckness, then I also need to really keep digging deep and doing my own work. That's a non-negotiable. We are always, as you will have heard me bang on about over and over again. We are always a work in progress. We never get to the end of the journey. We continue to move through things, to process things and to evolve and grow. So that's what I'm going to be doing in just a few days, and I'm super excited on Monday. I'm heading off for a month in Europe. It's something I've dreamed about for so, so long. It's something that felt like a pipe dream last year while I was stuck in systems that were making me even more unwell. Now I feel like I've broken free from those systems by letting go of the baggage and the heartbreak that they were causing me to step fully into the newer, better, I think, version of me. But this isn't just a holiday. While it's about having special time with my family, the people that matter the most in my life. It's also about so much more than that. This is about doing something special for them, the people that have stuck by me through all of this and really learning to live in the moment, which I've not been great at doing, and about really peeling back more layers of my nervous system. This trip to Europe is what I'm choosing to see as a shedding. A releasing a chance to grieve what's been and create space for what's next, like a transition. This trip isn't about pretending that everything is okay or running from what still hurts. It's about integration. It's about letting the sun hit places that have stayed in the dark for way too long. It's about letting joy in. It's about watching sunsets and creating moments of awe and really connecting at such a deep level psychologically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I am so excited about being given the opportunity to do this. So it's about letting joy in, not in spite of what I've been through, but because of it. This is me walking the walk and talking the talk. Living what I teach. Choosing growth, not perfection. I let go of perfection a long time ago. It's about wholeness, not performance, freedom, not fear. And what I wanna do is I wanna invite you, all of you to come with me. I wanna bring you along. If you're not already following me on Instagram or Facebook, then come join me. I'll be sharing this next leg of my healing journey. The raw, the real, the reflective, not as an influencer or expert, but as a fellow human being. Being deep in the beautiful, messy middle of becoming. Becoming who I believe I was always meant to be. Destined to be. And yes. Who I am now is not who I used to be before my trauma and before the burnout and before the gaslighting in the systems. It's about the new me and embracing and embodying who I truly am. You'll find me at Dr. Nat Green on Instagram or at Dr. Natalie Green on Facebook. I'll drop the link in the show notes. I'd love for you to join me and let's peel back these next layers together to every single one of you who has sent love, who's been inspired, who sat with discomfort and recognized your own story in mine. Thank you. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, this podcast is what it is because of you, and I want you to remember. That no matter how tough some days seem, every day is a new day and we get to choose how we're gonna show up and what we're gonna take on. From our environment, from others, and the messages we get as a result of our experiences. Post-traumatic growth isn't about becoming someone else. It's about becoming more of who you truly are. More free, more embodied, and more alive. I'm so ready to lean into that, and I hope you are too. So stay close on socials. I'm really excited as I really start to explore and discover who on earth I'm going to find when I travel. I know that I'm really gonna be digging deep into the archetypes, and I have not really embraced that liberated Voyager. And I'm really excited that the liberated Voyager within me is gonna be journeying to Europe and discovering so much I'm gonna be enjoying the beauty of Paris of Switzerland. I can't wait. We've got a beautiful unit looking out over the lake and the mountains, so I'm really excited to share those. Beautiful pictures and landscapes with you, but I'm also prepared for whatever emotional stuff comes through and what layers peel away as I really fully embody and embrace who I'm becoming because you have all allowed me to express myself. You've showed up, you've listened, and have sent such beautiful messages. So I'll see you again soon on the other side of the world with new stories, new insights, and a whole lot more truth. Because we're not here to play small, we're here to grow tall and shine brightly, like the tall poppies that each and every one of us truly are so with love always. That's it from me. Have a great week. Bye for now thank you for joining me in this episode of Growing Tall Poppies.
